Relay Board of Directors and
Advisory Panel

Arkansas Deaf and Hearing Impaired Telecommunication Service (ADHITS) is the parent Board of Arkansas Relay which is responsible for the provision of Relay services in the state of Arkansas. The Board was established by a Legislative Act and the seven members are appointed by the Governor and consists of three “consumers” and four telephone industry individuals. They meet monthly or as needed to take care of TRS related business in order to ensure Relay service in Arkansas is top quality.

The ADHITS Board has established an Advisory Panel consisting of users of Relay services, which meets quarterly to be updated and to discuss and advise on issues related to Relay and service-related concerns, if any exist. The number of individuals on the Panel varies, and each Panel member is expected to be committed to learning more about TRS issues, offering constructive help and input and sharing their knowledge with other individuals and Relay users in the area they reside and organizations they are members of.
